I am a second-year student. I have been interested in drawing for a few months. Drawing calms me down and relaxes me, but I usually draw based on pictures of real people. Therefore, this work of art was a challenge for me, as I needed to imagine the composition.

My artwork was based on the interviewee’s experience. She is transgender. When she was male, she felt that she was not living her life, and her male body made her feel desperate. Since her transition, she has felt like she is truly living. The drawing shows that this change in her identity made a difference in her emotions—one figure is crying and the other is smiling.

我是大學二年級學生。 我在幾個月前對繪畫產生了興趣，因畫畫的過程能使我平靜，並讓我放鬆。但我通常只會按照真實人物的照片進行繪畫。 因此，這幅畫對我來說是一個挑戰，因為我需要透過想像來構圖。

作品靈感來自受訪者的經驗。 她是一名變性人。 當她是男性的時候，她覺得自己從來沒有生存過，而且男性的身體使她感到絕望。 直至變性後，她才感覺到自己在生活著。此畫在表達身份變化改變了她的情緒：一個人在哭，另一個人在微笑。
